University of Michigan Adult ADHD Clinic

This is a specialty clinic that is part of U-M Department of Psychiatry. The clinic specializes in establishing the diagnosis of Adult ADHD. A multidisciplinary team that includes neuropsychology, psychometrics, and psychiatry performs a roughly six hour evaluation, all completed in one day. The typical course of treatment in this clinic involves initial consultation to establish diagnosis and a comprehensive treatment plan, several follow-up visits to identify effectiveness of initial interventions, then referral back to primary care providers for ongoing care. A referral from the patient’s Primary Care Physician is required for the initial evaluation appointment.
